Kadiyala V. Ravindra, M.D.

Dr. Ravindra graduated from the Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research in Pondicherry, India in 1988 and completed his residency in general surgery at the Institute in 1992.  Between 1992 and 1994 he completed a residency in surgical gastroenterology at Sanjay-Gandhi Postgraduate Institute for Medical Sciences in Lucknow, India. In 2003, Dr. Ravindra completed a clinical fellowship in hepatobiliary surgery at St. James’ University Hospital in Leeds, England, and was a transplant fellow from 2003 to 2005 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.   Dr. Ravindra is a member of several medical professional societies, including the American Transplant Society, the Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology and the Indian Association for the Study of Liver. He has received numerous awards and honors, including the Young Investigator Award in May 2004 from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American Society of Transplantation. He has authored numerous abstracts and articles in publications.
